Remodel Works (RW) recently upgraded our bath to a walk-in shower, and they did a very nice job: excellent overall quality, expensive but good value, reasonable time line but a few weeks over on the end date. Would have rated at 4.5, but 5 is fair given our overall satisfaction with the end result. $22K for a fairly small job, but again, the quality of workmanship is what we appreciated most in the end. Structural work done by craftsman was outstanding, never seen better and I've seen a lot. Tile work done by mason was also outstanding with the exception that he had to re-work an oversized cut three times and was not happy about it. Design work was also very good with the exception of missing incompatibility of initially quoted shower door with shower pan - this put us behind on schedule and was the only real "issue" with the project (owner made good on cost impact). Project management also very good with the exception that I had to do a bit more on the ground management than desired. Would definitely recommend; quality of work drives this high rating.

Expert Bathroom Fixture Replacement in Houston, TX
Bathroom fixture replacement is one of the most direct ways Houston homeowners can update a space without a full gut renovation. At Works Remodeling, we replace toilets, vanities, sinks, faucets, showerheads, and tub hardware in homes across Houston. Many homes in this city, especially those built before the late 1990s, have aging supply lines, worn fixtures, and hardware that no longer performs well. Houston's high humidity speeds up fixture wear, causes grout to trap moisture, and can lead to mold buildup around older seals and connections. We assess each fixture location before removal to check for signs of water damage or supply line issues behind the wall. New fixtures are set to current city plumbing standards, including proper trap and shutoff valve placement. Whether you are refreshing a guest bath or replacing every fixture in a primary bathroom, we keep the work focused on what you actually need. Call us to schedule a walk-through of your Houston bathroom.

Bathroom Fixture Replacement FAQ
Common questions about bathroom fixture replacement in Houston, TX.
We can replace a single fixture or multiple fixtures in your Houston bathroom without a full remodel. You choose the scope, and we work within it.
It can, especially in Houston homes built before the late 1990s where aging supply lines and worn drain connections are common. We check the area around each fixture before and during removal so nothing gets covered back up without being addressed.
A like-for-like fixture swap in the same location generally does not require a permit in Houston. If supply lines are rerouted or drain locations change, that work falls under Houston's plumbing permit requirements.
We recommend fixtures with corrosion-resistant finishes and sealed connections that hold up in Houston's humid climate. We walk you through options that fit your bathroom layout and daily use before any work begins.
Yes, we work in compact Houston bathrooms regularly and plan the removal and installation sequence to fit the space. Tight clearances around toilets and vanities are a normal part of the work.
Clear personal items from the vanity, under the sink, and around the toilet or tub area before we arrive. That gives us clean access to the fixtures and the supply shutoffs from the start.
