Remodel Works (RW) recently upgraded our bath to a walk-in shower, and they did a very nice job: excellent overall quality, expensive but good value, reasonable time line but a few weeks over on the end date. Would have rated at 4.5, but 5 is fair given our overall satisfaction with the end result. $22K for a fairly small job, but again, the quality of workmanship is what we appreciated most in the end. Structural work done by craftsman was outstanding, never seen better and I've seen a lot. Tile work done by mason was also outstanding with the exception that he had to re-work an oversized cut three times and was not happy about it. Design work was also very good with the exception of missing incompatibility of initially quoted shower door with shower pan - this put us behind on schedule and was the only real "issue" with the project (owner made good on cost impact). Project management also very good with the exception that I had to do a bit more on the ground management than desired. Would definitely recommend; quality of work drives this high rating.

Expert Siding Installation in Houston, TX
Works Remodeling provides professional siding installation for Houston homeowners who want a stronger, better-looking exterior. Houston's subtropical climate brings intense sun, high humidity, heavy rain, and seasonal storms. That combination puts real stress on any home's exterior walls. We start with a hands-on inspection of your current siding, sheathing, and trim. We look for moisture damage, rot, or gaps before a single new panel goes up. From there, we help you choose a material that fits your home's style and holds up in Houston's conditions. Every install includes proper moisture barriers, flashing at windows and doors, and tight fastening to handle wind loads common in this area. Many Houston neighborhoods also have HOA requirements for exterior changes, so we walk you through what your community needs before work begins. The result is a clean, weather-tight exterior that protects your home's structure and raises its curb appeal. Call Works Remodeling to schedule your on-site assessment.

Siding Installation FAQ

If you see warped panels, persistent mildew, peeling paint, or soft spots under the surface, full replacement is likely the better call in Houston's humid climate. Small isolated cracks or a single damaged section may only need a targeted repair.
Materials that resist moisture, UV fading, and wind impact perform best in Houston. Fiber cement and quality vinyl are two common choices because they hold up against the heat, humidity, and storm conditions typical here.
Yes, we remove existing siding and inspect the wall surface underneath before any new material goes on. This step lets us catch hidden water damage or rot that could cause problems later.
Many Houston neighborhoods require HOA approval for exterior changes including siding color and material. We help you gather the product information and color samples your HOA typically asks for before we schedule installation.
