Remodel Works (RW) recently upgraded our bath to a walk-in shower, and they did a very nice job: excellent overall quality, expensive but good value, reasonable time line but a few weeks over on the end date. Would have rated at 4.5, but 5 is fair given our overall satisfaction with the end result. $22K for a fairly small job, but again, the quality of workmanship is what we appreciated most in the end. Structural work done by craftsman was outstanding, never seen better and I've seen a lot. Tile work done by mason was also outstanding with the exception that he had to re-work an oversized cut three times and was not happy about it. Design work was also very good with the exception of missing incompatibility of initially quoted shower door with shower pan - this put us behind on schedule and was the only real "issue" with the project (owner made good on cost impact). Project management also very good with the exception that I had to do a bit more on the ground management than desired. Would definitely recommend; quality of work drives this high rating.

Expert Cabinet Installation in Houston, TX
Cabinet installation in Houston requires more than hanging boxes on a wall. Works Remodeling handles the full process: layout planning, precise leveling, securing cabinets to wall studs, and fitting doors and hardware for a clean finish. Houston's high humidity is a real factor here. The city averages around 75% relative humidity year-round, which can warp doors and degrade cabinet boxes that are not built or installed to handle moisture. We account for that from the start, checking wall conditions and ensuring every run is plumb and square before anything is fastened. Many Houston homes also sit on clay slab foundations that shift slightly with wet and dry cycles. That movement affects how cabinets hang and how doors align over time. We set each cabinet to hold its position through those normal shifts. Whether you are updating a kitchen, refreshing a bathroom vanity, or replacing worn-out storage in both spaces, Works Remodeling brings focused attention to every install. Cabinet Installation FAQ
Common questions about cabinet installation in Houston, TX.
Cabinet replacement in Houston does not require a permit on its own. If your project also involves moving plumbing, electrical, or structural work, those portions will require permits from the City of Houston.
Yes, we install cabinets in kitchens and bathrooms throughout Houston. Handling both spaces in one project keeps measurements consistent and reduces disruption to your home.
Houston's high humidity causes cabinet doors to absorb moisture, which leads to warping and sticking. Proper installation with moisture-aware hardware and sealed finishes helps reduce this problem.
We assess your current cabinet boxes before any work begins in Houston. Solid plywood boxes in good condition are usually worth keeping, while particle board boxes showing moisture damage or structural wear typically need full replacement.
Cabinet installation means setting new cabinet boxes, doors, and hardware in place. Refacing keeps the existing boxes and replaces only the doors, drawer fronts, and visible surfaces, which works well for Houston homeowners whose box structures are still solid.
Yes, we work in older Houston homes where walls may be out of plumb or floors uneven. We adjust our installation approach to fit the actual conditions of your space rather than assuming a perfect surface.
