Remodel Works (RW) recently upgraded our bath to a walk-in shower, and they did a very nice job: excellent overall quality, expensive but good value, reasonable time line but a few weeks over on the end date. Would have rated at 4.5, but 5 is fair given our overall satisfaction with the end result. $22K for a fairly small job, but again, the quality of workmanship is what we appreciated most in the end. Structural work done by craftsman was outstanding, never seen better and I've seen a lot. Tile work done by mason was also outstanding with the exception that he had to re-work an oversized cut three times and was not happy about it. Design work was also very good with the exception of missing incompatibility of initially quoted shower door with shower pan - this put us behind on schedule and was the only real "issue" with the project (owner made good on cost impact). Project management also very good with the exception that I had to do a bit more on the ground management than desired. Would definitely recommend; quality of work drives this high rating.

Expert Siding Replacement in Houston, TX
Houston homes take a beating from the outside. High humidity, wind-driven rain, intense UV exposure, and seasonal storms put constant pressure on exterior siding. When siding starts to warp, crack, rot, or pull away from the wall, it stops protecting your home. Works Remodeling handles full siding replacement for Houston homeowners who are done patching and ready for a lasting fix. We remove the old siding, inspect the sheathing underneath, and address any soft spots or moisture damage before anything new goes on. We then install a proper weather barrier, flash all critical joints, and set new siding with correct spacing and fastening patterns. Houston's subtropical climate calls for materials that resist moisture intrusion, handle thermal expansion, and hold up against strong winds. We help you choose the right option for your home's style and exposure. If you see soft boards near the base of your walls, peeling paint that won't hold, or rising energy bills, your siding may be failing. Call Works Remodeling to schedule a walk-around and get a clear picture of what your Houston home needs.

Siding Replacement FAQ
Common questions about siding replacement in Houston, TX.
Replacement is the right call when you have widespread rot, warping across multiple walls, or soft sections near the base of your exterior walls. Patching isolated spots on siding that has failed in several areas rarely holds up in Houston's humidity.
We remove all old siding and trim, then inspect the sheathing underneath for moisture damage or rot before installing anything new. Any damaged sheathing gets addressed before the new weather barrier and siding go on.
Yes, new siding with a properly installed weather barrier reduces air leakage and heat transfer through your exterior walls. Houston homeowners often see more consistent indoor temperatures after replacing failing siding.
We can replace siding on a single wall or elevation if the rest of the exterior is in good condition. We will inspect the full exterior first so you have a clear picture of what needs attention.
Look for cracked or missing panels, sections that feel soft when pressed, gaps at corners or window trim, and any new water stains on interior walls. Houston storms can drive water behind even small openings, so catching damage early limits repair costs.
Yes, we handle the complete process from stripping old siding to installing the weather barrier, new panels, trim, and finish work. You work directly with one person from the first visit through project completion.
