Remodel Works (RW) recently upgraded our bath to a walk-in shower, and they did a very nice job: excellent overall quality, expensive but good value, reasonable time line but a few weeks over on the end date. Would have rated at 4.5, but 5 is fair given our overall satisfaction with the end result. $22K for a fairly small job, but again, the quality of workmanship is what we appreciated most in the end. Structural work done by craftsman was outstanding, never seen better and I've seen a lot. Tile work done by mason was also outstanding with the exception that he had to re-work an oversized cut three times and was not happy about it. Design work was also very good with the exception of missing incompatibility of initially quoted shower door with shower pan - this put us behind on schedule and was the only real "issue" with the project (owner made good on cost impact). Project management also very good with the exception that I had to do a bit more on the ground management than desired. Would definitely recommend; quality of work drives this high rating.

Expert Roof Replacement in Houston, TX
Houston homeowners face some of the toughest roofing conditions in the country. Intense summer heat, Gulf Coast humidity, heavy rainfall, and high-wind storms all shorten roof life. When repairs are no longer enough, a full roof replacement from Works Remodeling gives your home a clean start with materials suited to this climate. Our process starts with a full deck inspection. We check for soft spots, rot, and ventilation gaps before any new material goes down. Houston's heat and humidity make proper attic ventilation a key part of every replacement we do. Poor airflow traps heat and moisture, which breaks down roofing materials faster. We work with Houston homeowners across all home styles and roof types. Whether your home has a steep-pitch or a low-slope section, we assess the full system before we start. If you have noticed missing shingles, ceiling stains, or a roof that is 15 or more years old, call Works Remodeling for an honest assessment.

Roof Replacement FAQ
Common questions about roof replacement in Houston, TX.
A replacement is likely the right call if your roof is 15 or more years old, has widespread shingle damage, or shows interior water stains in multiple spots. Works Remodeling inspects the full deck and flashing to give you a clear answer specific to your Houston home.
Yes, Houston's combination of intense heat, high humidity, and frequent storms wears roofs down faster than in many other parts of the country. Homeowners in Houston often replace roofs more frequently than the national average due to hurricane exposure, hail, and UV degradation.
Every replacement includes a full deck inspection, removal of old materials, ventilation assessment, underlayment installation, and new roofing material suited to Houston's climate. We do not skip the deck check, because hidden rot under old shingles is common in Houston's humid conditions.
Yes, we work on both pitched and low-slope roofs, which are common on Houston's inner-loop and townhome-style properties. We assess the full roof system before recommending the right approach for your specific home.
Look for missing or curling shingles, dark stains on interior ceilings, granules collecting in gutters, or a roof age of 15 years or more. Houston's heat and storm activity accelerate these warning signs compared to cooler, drier climates.
Yes, storm-related roof replacements are a regular part of what we do for Houston homeowners. We inspect the full extent of wind, hail, or water damage before scoping the replacement so nothing gets missed.
